"Jab We Met" is a popular Bollywood romantic comedy film released in 2007, directed by Imtiaz Ali and starring Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor in the lead roles.
The film revolves around the lives of two characters, Aditya Kashyap (played by Shahid Kapoor) and Geet Dhillon (played by Kareena Kapoor). Aditya is a heartbroken and depressed business tycoon who has faced a series of setbacks in his personal and professional life. He decides to escape from his problems by taking a train journey to Shimla.
During the journey, he crosses paths with Geet, an outgoing and vivacious young woman who is on her way to meet her boyfriend in Manali. However, Geet's plans go awry when she misses her train due to a series of comical mishaps. Aditya, feeling a sense of responsibility, helps Geet in finding her way to Manali.
As they travel together, their personalities clash initially, with Geet's carefree nature contrasting Aditya's serious demeanor. However, over time, Aditya begins to find joy and a new perspective on life through Geet's infectious positivity. Geet, in turn, begins to understand Aditya's pain and helps him heal emotionally.
